Date, Time & Location:

The Road Race will be held on Patriots Day at 8:00AM on Saturday, April 19, 2025 starting with firing of the muskets on Massachusetts Avenue.

(at the crosswalk between Via Largo Restaurannt and the Cary Library)

BIB:

After you register you will be assigned a bib number. Your race bib will be included in your race packet along with your t-shirt which will be given to you when you pick up your packet.

RACE PACKET PICKUP:

To ensure a smooth race morning, we ask all runners to pick up their bibs and packets in advance.

Thursday, April 17: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Friday, April 18: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

There will be limited on-site packet pickup on race morning from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM at Emory Park in Lexington Center Please note: due to security guidelines, there is no on-site storage. Any bags or packets left unattended on the ground will be removed. Thank you for your cooperation.

Timing / Results:

Our professional timing company BayState Race Services will be timing the race. Your individual race results will be available at the end of the race, and online here.

The Currier Cup is a Special Silver Cup that is presented to the first place finisher of the race by

the family of the first Place finisher of the First Patriots Day Road Race in 1914 Ralph “Curlie”

Currier. 

RACE DETAILS

• Distance: Run 5 Miles
• Date: Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 8:00a.m.
• Where: Steps from the Battle Green in Lexington, 1 Bedford St, Lexington, MA. (The start line and finish line is located at the crosswalk between Via Lago and Cary Library)

REGISTRATION DETAILS

• Pre-Registration: Registration for the 5 Mile race is $35. Price increases to $40 on April 1st.
• When to Register: Runners can register here online anytime from now up through Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:59am EDT. No Race Day Registrations. REGISTRATION IS FULL FOR 2025

SWAG

• T-shirts: All runners will receive a Patriots Day Road Race 2025 custom designed t-shirt on a Bella Canvas high quality, soft cotton shirt.

PARKING

• There are multiple public parking lots within the area. Due to the anticipated larger than usual crowds for Lexington's 250th celebration events, plan ahead. The Lex250 web site provides information on parking and transportation options. Check their web site for details.
  

BATHROOMS

• Bathrooms are available at the Visitors Center, If you are facing the Minuteman Statue, it is to your right.

REFRESHMENTS

• At the end of the race just beyond the finish line, we will be serving water, juice and fruit.
