Please join us for the 100th Annual running one of the oldest road races in the United States. First run in 1914, the Patriots Day Five Mile Road Race has a long and rich tradition for runners from Lexington to all over the country. Come spend the day in Lexington, there is so much to offer. Come be a part of the Birthplace of American Liberty on the anniversary of the first day of the American Revolution. This is not only the 100th running, but it is also the 100th Anniversary of the race. The race was suspended in 1918 because of WWI. All sports activities were cancel because of the war.
